Privacy Statement: How We Use Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

We use cookies to help identify your computer so we can tailor your user experience, track shopping basket contents and remember where you are in the order process.

You can disable any cookies already stored on your computer, but these may stop our website from functioning properly.

To keep track of cart data we use WooCommerce, which makes use of three cookies:

woocommerce_cart_hash
woocommerce_items_in_cart
wp_woocommerce_session_
The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.

Google Analytics:

Google Analytics is a tool that helps website owners measure how users interact with website content. As a user navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides website owners JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to “remember” what a user has done on previous pages / interactions with the website. No personal, identifying information is shared.

More information on Google Analytics cookies can be found here but I assure you it’s a very boring read.

MailMunch:

This site uses a MailMunch plugin to display a polite popup. The cookie for MailMunch makes sure that popup doesn’t appear every time you visit this site. It is a kind cookie.

This website will not:

Share any personal information with third parties.
